Family Boasts 9 Eagle Scouts Across 3 Generations

For Aidan Miller, becoming an Eagle Scout is a family tradition.

Surrounded by a flock of Eagles, including his father, grandfather, uncles, and cousins, Aidan received his Eagle Award at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pearl River, NY, on June 6.

Aidan’s Eagle rank brings the family total to nine. That means every male member of his immediate family, across three generations, is an Eagle Scout.

Gordon Miller, Aidan’s father, is proud his son has joined the rest of the men in the family in achieving Eagle. He explained, “Scouting teaches values and skills that nothing else can, and we are all the closer for sharing this journey. “
