When a Scout earns Eagle Scout, not only is it a momentous lifetime event, but it’s also a source of great pride for the boy’s family. And that’s when one Scout earns Eagle. Imagine being the 10th in a family to earn the prestigious award – now, that’s an Eagle Scout legacy.

Aboard the USS Midway 10 in San Diego, Calif., the Jungman family welcomed two more Eagle Scouts to the the clan, making the crew 10 Eagles deep. The family, along with Scouts from Troop 36, Patrol Radioactive, celebrated the new Jungman Eagles at the Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

“It’s a symbol of honor for our family, a symbol of pride, something we all take into our hearts very dearly,” said the newest Jungman Eagle to U-T San Diego. “Scouting is just a part of our family, a lifestyle, I guess.”
