How Scouting Stuck with This Texas Man Stuck in a Tree

Keeping calm under pressure is a lesson Scouts learn on day one of the program. Even through adulthood, Scouting’s teachings ring true and come in handy when you least expect it.

So when Kerry Packer from Austin, Texas got stuck in a tree after his car was swept away in severe floods, he credited Scouting for helping him weather the storm.
